SendGrid is a leader in the email API space. They send over 134 billion emails every month to over 80,000 customers. While at SendGrid, I was responsible for an identity rebrand, campaign work, illustration, and much more. Below is a sampling of a few key projects during my time at SendGrid.
Hours. There never seems to be enough in the day. Follow Olivia on a metaphoric journey, from her overwhelming race against time to a futuristic and serene cloud-based life with the help of SendGrid.
In a wonderful partnership with Colin Hesterly, we created a story focusing on something other than the intangible aspects of email and technology. However, instead, it creates an emotional experience focused on the struggles of the ever-growing modern workload.

I was responsible for leading the SendGrid rebrand. The original brand was beginning to show its limits for the growth SendGrid was experiencing.
Conceptually, the mark is comprised of two arrows coming together and overlapping in the middle. The arrows represent communication, and the overlap represents engagement. The dark blue squares in the corner are the notifications for the messages that each party is sending.
A well-rounded and flexible brand helped set us up to take the company public.

SendGrid needed some illustrative assets that could help simplify the complexities of the email API world. We partnered with illustrator Colin Hesterly to roll out an inclusive and lively illustration style. The illustrations were used across various marketing channels and touchpoints.
